Why drink our Refreshing Green Blend?
This blend of Rwanda green tea leaves is our new version of the original Refreshing Green. We added single origin, Sencha-style green tea from selected as "Best Green Tea" at the Africa Tea Convention. This award-winning tea is hand-harvested and steamed with no oxidation, creating a fresh, smooth tea with mild astringency and high antioxidants. Enjoy the soothing flavors of Peppermint, Lemon, Tulsi Holy Basil and Ginger, for a cup full of Vitamin C, polyphenols and antioxidants, which help to boost your immune system and makes you ready to fight against infection, flu, cold, etc. Your body will then be empowered to fight any pathogens that you are exposed to daily. Ginger and peppermint are excellent for digestion, and ginger has additional anti-inflammatory properties that make this a treat for any occasion, and any season to refresh and mellow you out.

- Steeping time: 5 minutes for 250 mll/8fl.oz - Water that has barely reached a boil and then cooled a couple of minutes is ideal for green teas. Try to use 160 – 185ºF (71 – 85ºC). Shake well before use, to get a balanced amount of ingredients in your cup.
- If you use an infuser, it is best to remove the infuser after your tea is done steeping. Note that while teas may be used for multiple infusions, ultimately this is influenced by your preferred strength of tea and personal experience, although there are differing opinions about optimal tea brewing.
