Note that while teas may be used for multiple infusions, ultimately this is influenced by your preferred strength of tea and personal experience, although there are differing opinions about optimal tea brewing. Holiday Recipes Using The Holiday Hibiscus Spice Tea Blend


This recipe includes making: 1) your syrup, and 2) your cocktail. 


Making the Holiday Hibiscus Spice Syrup:

In a small sauce pan, add ½ cup of water, 3-4 tbsp of your Holiday Hibiscus Spice blend to your pan and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.  

Add 3 tbsp crystallized cane sugar (other sweetness are also an option but they may alter the flavor of your syrup and cocktail), and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, until all the sugar is dissolved.

Remove your spiced tea blend from heat, strain and allow it to sit for 5 -10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Your Cocktail 

Hot: In a small saucepan, add 4 oz. whisky or red wine, 1½ oz. Holiday Hibiscus Spice syrup and heat over low temperature before it reaches boiling point). Turn down and pour into small cups and sip away!


Chilled: In a cocktail shaker, add 4 oz. whisky or red wine, 1½ oz. Holiday Hibiscus Spice syrup. To make this more fancy, add an oz of liqueur. Add ice and shake. Pour into a frosted coup glass, sip and share with family and friends!
