Holiday Recipe - Our Hot Autumn Hibiscus Liqueur
This recipe includes making 1) your syrup, and 2) your cocktail.
Making the Autumn Hibiscus Spice Syrup:
In a small sauce pan, add ½ cup of water, 3-4 tbsp of your Autumn Hibiscus Spice blend to your pan and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
Add 3 tbsp crystallized cane sugar (other sweetness are also an option but they may alter the flavor of your syrup and cocktail), and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, until all the sugar is dissolved.
Remove your spiced tea blend from heat, strain and allow it to sit for 5 -10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Your Cocktail
Hot: In a small saucepan, add 4 oz. whisky or red wine, 1½ oz. Autumn Hibiscus Spice syrup and heat over low temperature before it reaches boiling point). Turn down and pour into small cups and sip away!
Chilled: In a cocktail shaker, add 4 oz. whisky or red wine, 1½ oz. Autumn Hibiscus Spice syrup. To make this more fancy, add an oz of liqueur. Add ice and shake. Pour into a frosted coup glass, sip and share with family and friends!
